A record-breaking 60 local women have been named finalists for the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s 2010 BusinessWoman of the Year Awards. The women were named finalists in 10 categories by an independent panel of judges.

The competition was fierce. Finalists were chosen from more than 300 nominations, also a record for the event, which began in 2004.

The category winners and an overall winner will be revealed at a gala event on Friday, Aug. 20 at the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay from 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Mary Ann Wilhelm is one of 11 Finalist in the Entreprenuer catagory.
